So this morning as I was getting my little Celestine diapered and dressed, I was admiring how pretty and delicate she is becoming.

Her hair has become strawberry blond (was dark brown when she was born) and her eyes are now a really pretty shade of bright blue-gray ...its that vivid coloring of the deep blue sky (not the typical bright light skyblue) that you see on a cold overcast winter day. making it appropriate that her middle name is Winter.

Her skin is a beautiful pale pink porcelain...

...and she has the cutest chubby cheeks! lol

I suppose its just easier to be able to see a little bit of me in her than it is in the boys. Devon has red in his brown hair & my little ears... Thalen also has red mixed into his light brown hair (Which I think will become something close to black when he's older)he also has the curls I had when I was little. His eyes are going to be either hazel or brown... I'm routing for hazel like Joes.

I guess that something just clicked today and I realized that even though it mat not be in the way that I ideally would like, that it is our children who allow us to be able to attain that tiny glimpse of youthfulness & immortality
